Festive Fabuloso

Different Light was delighted to work with East Lindsey District Council to deliver FESTIVE FABULOSO, a pilot community & business engagement project that took place in December 2021 across the 5 market towns in the Vital & Viable project, Alford, Horncastle, Louth, Spilsby & Wainfleet.
Local children, families, businesses and communities from across the region designed their own project logo templates, which then featured in a specially created, animation made by digital artist Barret Hodgson, which you can now see above! The film was part of a digital exhibition showcasing the local artwork that was shown on a big outdoor screen at a series of Festive Fabuloso events, held in each of the market town centres in December. As well as the screen the event included street performances by the brilliant Earth Bound Misfits and the first sightings of the Fabuloso Organ, an interactive electronic instrument made out of the old disused organ from Spilsby Sessions House by local artist, engineer and inventor, Dave Cranmer.
50 of the most fabuloso designs were also chosen to be displayed in shop fronts and galleries across each town as part of the Festive Fabuloso trail too and remained on display until Christmas.
Different Light would like to thank everyone who took part in the pilot project and everyone who came along to our Festive Fabuloso events and to the Town Councils of Alford, Horncastle, Louth, Spilsby & Wainfleet and especially to East Lindsey District Council.
